I was 5 years old in Kindergarten, I had only one friend in school, her name was Mary. The day I lost my only friend, I guess I just didn’t think it was a big deal to walk two miles away from school at age 5. I convinced my friend Mary she was a pretty girl, long black hair and bangs, I know she wore a dress that day, but that is all I remember. I just know I asked her to come with me to meet my sister.

My sister was an 8th grader at the time at Burger T. Washington Jr. High School. We skipped class and walked off the school grounds, I remember passing my house in the black projects, we called them the black projects because 90 percent of the residents were black. I remember holding her hand and walking threw the projects.
A few friends of my sisters stopped us and asked me were we were going. I said to my sisters school so she can meet my new friend. My sisters friend decided to walk with us and show me how to get there. We walked a couple miles maybe a little less than that. But we got to the school, I asked the lady to get my sister Lisa. When my sister got down to office, she found both me and my new friend sitting down. I could tell she was not happy with me. After a little while the police showed up and they took us back home. They took my friend home first, her mom was outside and she was crying, she ran up to my friend and held her tight. The police took me home and mom just grabbed me and told me to go inside and spoke to the police. My mother told me I was never to talk with that little girl ever again. I guess at the time I was excited to have a new friend that I wanted to let my sister meet her. My sister was the only one I was close to at that time. My friend never came back to class after that day. I look at my 7 year daughter today and I can’t even imagine some boy convincing her to leave her school and walk across town to her older sisters school.

A little older

I think back and wonder how the hell I made it through that hell. I know it was not my fault that it happened to me. I remember it always feeling good, so I didn't know a bad thing was happening to me. Okay I will tell you already. My father sexually abused me, he must have started when i was a baby. My mother would leave me with him quite often as a child. She blamed him for her getting pregnant even though it was her that went over his place drunk to get her rocks off.  I was a happy kid, yes I played with dolls and was obsessed with being a female, hello, I was confused apparently. No one had a clue that the reason for my gender mix up, was that my father was using me for his own pleasure the sick bastard. He would show me porn, I mean I was hooked on this porn, he would get off on me. He showed me how to get off by myself and I am like 5 years old always wanting to get myself off here. I seemed to have my hand on my private any second I could. I still do that and sometimes with out knowing. My father would have me play with his dick, he would rub on me till he came. he would have me take showers with him. This went on for years, then the day came that he caused me real pain. He entered my little body, he fucked his little boy I must have been around 9 years old. I was almost 10, I did not like my father after that, and somehow I new that everything we did together was not normal any more. I told my mother I did not want to go to his house anymore. I did not see my father again for a few years. My Mom had taken me to San Jose, California she was trying to get away from one of her husbands at the time. His was a mean fucker. Cookie was his name. Anyways I got away from him for awhile. I never told anyone about what he did. When I was 14 years old my mother moved us back to Arizona. When we go there my sister said my dad wanted to see me. I said I didn't want to go but she pressured me into it. So I went with her to his house. It seemed normal enough, we ate and talked like normal families do. I went to the restroom for less than a few minutes and when I came out my sister had been sent to the store. My father had already been drinking. He came up close to me and I felt fear go up my spine. He said " I bet you are nice size mijo, you have fur on your dick?" I asked him were my sister was and he just went straight to my pants and I tried to stop him, he pulled them down and I screamed for my sister. He turned me over and entered me from behind, I cried and then I got angry, I used my weight and got him off of me. He tried to get up and I kicked him on the chest and got up. I ran to the door and ran out, I got myself together. When my sister drove up a half hour later. I said to her take me home, he is drunk and I never want to come here again. My sis asked me if something happened. I said no, just take me home. I did not see my father again till I was a grown man. I did get him to confess to me that he did it. That I was not crazy, he died 2 weeks after he confessed to me and I have had some peace.

I am a gay man, I was married for 14 years to a women, she was a great Mother, Wife, Lover, and friend, just was not meant to be for me. I am a father of three beautiful children, My son Tobias who is 19 , my daughter Ashley who is 11.5 and my baby Amaris who is 7. I am so greatful that I had the chance to be a father. After her I was with a man my partner for 5.5 years. Started off great but he became a controlling, sex obsessed, insecure, asshole. I was very lucky to have escaped that relationship. I was recently involved with a man that took my heart and I did get my heart broken, but I did learn that I could love after my last relationship. I still have hope that Mr. right is out there for me. I once said that I am just going to be alone and just have a good time being single. But I am still young and if that special someone comes along. I am surely going to take the chance again.

My name is Conrad Solarez Castro, I was named after my uncle Conrad Solarez, my Mothers brother. I am the baby of the family of 5 siblings. My mother told me I was a surprise, she got drunk one night and felt the need to get her rocks off, and because her boyfriend at the time (James) was in prison at the time. My mother went to my father house. They had been separated for 5 years at the time. So they had sex and she conceived me. My mother didn’t believe in abortion so here I came her 5th child. This of course took the title of baby from my brother Rudy who was 6 when I was born. It did not matter as he was always her favorite.
